Description

Alissa Kleywegt, DNP joined The Iowa Clinic North Waukee Family Medicine team, bringing a wealth of knowledge and a passion for patient-centered care. Working at TIC as a registered nurse for four years, she chose to continue her career as a nurse practitioner, inspired by her experiences with both coworkers and patients. Alissa chose family medicine because it allows her to care for patients of all ages. She finds the most rewarding part of her work to be personalizing every interaction and connecting with her patients, learning about their families, lives, and experiences beyond their health.
